Organized in 1957

The Foundation was organized in 1957 as the Bay Youth Foundation and renamed In 1986 to the Bay Village Kiwanis Foundation.

Our History

The Bay Village Kiwanis Foundation was created to provide a source of funds for Kiwanis projects far into the future, from a fund source likely to continue to grow.

While social welfare organizations (clubs) are tax exempt, donations to them are not. Thus, charitable foundations allow tax deductible donations to be collected in support of the valuable work the Kiwanis Club performs to improve the lives of individuals locally and around the world. By doing so, donors can expect their gifts to continue to advance the purpose of the club far into the future.
